Old home video clips of 1993 Las Vegas places….the Stratosphere tower half-built with Bob Stupak’s Vegas World casino below it. The closed-down Landmark hotel with its strobe lights still running… The original MGM Grand entrance… The Tropicana with the old Easter Island heads in front… and the Showboat hotel out on Boulder Highway–big with the locals, which was later renamed Castaways and imploded in January 2006… Video all by Greg Clarke. Music is “Gritty Shaker” from the Ocean’s Eleven movie soundtrack……

Gambit was a television game show, created by Wayne Cruseturner[1] and produced by Heatter-Quigley Productions, that aired on CBS from September 4, 1972 to December 10, 1976.
A slightly retooled version, Las Vegas Gambit, aired on NBC from October 27, 1980 to November 27, 1981, originating from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Both versions of the show were hosted by Wink Martindale, and announced by Kenny Williams. Elaine Stewart was the card dealer for the CBS version. On the Las Vegas Gambit version, the card dealer was Beverly Malden; she left half-way through the series’ run and was replaced by Lee Menning.
